Assignment 2- Romina Morales

1. What media is used in my everyday life?
the media I use in my everyday life is my cellphone and also my TV, because this devices transmits things such as movies, news, pictures, etc. We use this things every day because now days they seem to be part of us. 

2. In what ways have I used multimedia for a class assignment before? 
When we put the songs, videos or pictures in blogger we where using media. Also when we use other pages and creating ours we were using media.

3. Explain how the World Wide Web is considered multimedia.
We can find all kinds of media on the internet, from pictures to videos. The internet is the number one media producer.

4. What is the difference between time-based media and static-media? Give examples of each.
There is a fundamental distinction between time-based and static media: time-based media exhibit change over time; static media do not.
Video/Film, Sound, Theater-Performance-Dance, Interactive works that require viewer input  are  considered time-based media.
Still images (Photography, Painting, Drawing, Printmaking) and text are usually considered to be  static media.


5. Insert a video (into your blog) that discusses/shows/involves multimedia you are interested in. Now answer the following questions after you insert the video. How is this multimedia? Why does this interest you?

-This is multimedia because with this device you can get into a lot of medias in the same place, for example each of the apps that we use are multimedia.
-This device is interesting to me because i can do lots of things at the same time, for example watching videos, movies, pictures and using the internet.
Define the following terms by researching for answers on the World Wide Web. 

6. Adobe Flash
 a multimedia and software platform used for authoring of vector graphics, animation, games and rich Internet applications that can be viewed, played and executed in Adobe Flash Player
7. Programming Languages any of various high-level languages used for computer programs  
8. Scripting Language (program) a programming language designed for integrating and communicating with other programming languages.
9. Interactivity is the integration of digital media including combinations of electronic text, graphics, moving images, and sound, into a structured digital computerized environment that allows people to interact with the data for appropriate purposes.
10. Pixel a minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed
